Broiled Ranch Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:
  • (2) egg whites, lightly beaten
  • (1/2 cup) canned diced tomatoes, drained
  • (1/2 cup) canned black beans, rinsed and drained
  • (1 small) onion, chopped
  • (1 Tbsp.) lime juice
  • (1-2 Tbsp.) chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • (1 clove) garlic, minced
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1 1/4 lb.) lean ground turkey
  • (1/3 cup) fat-free ranch salad dressing
  • (1 Tbsp.) fresh cilantro, minced
  • (5) lettuce leaves
  • (5) hamburger buns, split

Broiled Ranch Turkey Burgers

Turkey and black bean burgers topped with crisp lettuce and a cilantro Ranch dressing.

    Instructions

  1. 1With oven rack in top position, preheat the broiler.
  2. 2In a large bowl, mix together egg whites, tomatoes, black beans, onion, lime juice, chipotle peppers, garlic, salt and ground turkey. Form into 5 equal patties.

  3. 3Broil 14-18 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  4. 4Meanwhile, mix together dressing and cilantro. Top each bun with lettuce, 1 burger and dressing. Enjoy!
