Chocolate Covered Banana Popsicles

Ingredients:
  • (4 large) ripe bananas, peeled and cut into thirds crosswise
  • (3/4 cup) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
  • (1/4 cup) shredded coconut, nuts or sprinkles

Chocolate Covered Banana Popsicles

Frozen banana popsicles coated in melted chocolate and shredded coconut.

    Instructions

  1. 1Insert a popsicle stick into each piece of banana. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2Place 3/4 cup chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave 20 seconds at a time, until melted, stirring after each cycle.
  3. 3Spoon chocolate over each piece of banana to coat, sprinkle with coconut (or nuts or sprinkles*) and place on baking sheet.
  4. 4Freeze about 2 hours, or until completely frozen.
