Instructions
1In a large saucepan, cover pears with water by 1 inch. Add sugar and place over High heat. Once boiling, cook until reduced (could take as long as 1 hour).
2Take off heat, add vanilla. Set aside to cool. When warm, add liqueur, stir and serve.
