1Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
2Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, white pepper, cloves, baking soda and salt in a large bowl, set aside.
3Use an electric mixer on low to beat together brown sugar and margarine. Once blended, beat on High for 2 minutes. Add molasses, beat on medium to combine.
4Add flour mixture, stir by hand to combine.
5Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet, leaving 4 in. in- between. Press each cookie down slightly into a 2 in. round. Bake 8-10 minutes.
6Cool on pan 3 minutes, then on a wire rack until completely cooled.
