Starting Position: Lie with your back centered on a large exercise ball and place your feet flat on the ground, knees bent to a 90 degree angle. Keep your shoulders off the ball. Hold a medicine ball with both hands and hold it slightly behind your head with your elbows bent.

  1. 1 Exhale and crunch your upper body, bringing your arms, shoulders and upper back towards your hips, until your head is pointing straight up to the ceiling. Keep your legs at a 90 degree angle.
  2. 2 Hold for a one count, then return to starting position.
  3. 3 Repeat this exercise until you have completed all repetitions for the set.
