Ingredients:
  • (8 oz. can) reduced-fat refrigerated crescent dinner roll dough
  • (12 oz.) turkey breakfast sausage
  • (1 cup) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • (1 cup) fat-free cheddar cheese, shredded
  • (1/4 cup) fat-free milk
  • (1/2 tsp.) salt
  • (1/8 tsp.) black pepper
  • (8 oz. carton) egg substitute
  • (2 Tbsp.) fresh Parmesan cheese, grated

Sausage Potato Pizza Pie

Flaky crescent rolls serve as a crust for this savory turkey sausage and hash brown breakfast pie.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 12 in. pizza pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add sausage, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook 5 minutes or until browned, drain and remove pan from heat.

  3. 3Meanwhile, separate crescent dough triangles and press them into the pizza pan to form the crust. Pinch the edges of the dough between your fingers to form a crimped edge.

  4. 4In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, salt, pepper and egg susbstitute.
  5. 5Top crust with an even layer each of sausage, potatoes and cheese, then pour eggs on top. Add Parmesan cheese and bake 25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cut into wedges and serve.
