Dijon Ham and Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients:
  • (2 loafs) ficelle
  • (1/4 cup) butter, softened
  • (2 Tbsp.) Dijon mustard
  • (1/8 tsp.) coarse black pepper
  • (3/4 lb.) Virginia ham, sliced
  • (3 large) avocados, peeled and sliced

Dijon Ham and Avocado Sandwich

A thin ficelle loaf spread with a tangy Dijon butter and topped with sliced Virginia ham and creamy avocado.

    Instructions

  1. 1Slice each loaf in thirds and split open. In a small bowl, combine butter, mustard and pepper. Spread both sides of bread with mixture.
  2. 2Top each sandwich evenly with ham, avocado and a sprinkle of sea salt. Refrigerate 3 hours and serve.
