Ingredients:
  • (13.8 oz. tube) refrigerated pizza crust
  • (1/2 lb.) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • (2 Tbsp.) Crisco® Olive Oil
  • (1/2 cup) sliced onion
  • (1/2 cup) julienned green pepper
  • (3 cloves) garlic, minced
  • (1 tsp.) chili powder
  • (1/4 tsp.) salt
  • (1/8 tsp.) pepper
  • (1 cup) salsa
  • (2 cups) reduced-fat shredded Mexican cheese blend

Southwestern Chicken Pizza

A thin pizza crust topped with salsa, shredded cheese and sauteed chicken with onions and green pepper.

    Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 15 x 10 x 1 in. baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2Place dough in the bottom and slightly up the sides of the greased pan. Bake 8-10 minutes.
  3. 3Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil. When hot, add chicken and saute until lightly browned on all sides.
  4. 4Add onion, green pepper, garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper, cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5Top crust with salsa, 1 cup cheese, chicken mixture and rest of cheese. Bake 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is golden-brown.
