Instructions
1Place a large pot over medium-high heat. Add oil, move around to coat the bottom of the pot. When hot, add turnip, celery, onion, thyme and bay leaves. Cook 4 minutes, stirring
occasionally.
2Stir in peas and broth. Bring to a rapid simmer, then cover and simmer on medium-low 2 hours. Remove bay leaves.
3Transfer to a blender (in batches if necessary) and puree until smooth. Season with salt and hot-pepper sauce, serve and enjoy.
